As of today, Olivia is 11 weeks old now and she is big healthy baby, weighting around 13 lbs and 23 in. tall. She wears 3-6 months clothes cuz her body/legs are long and I'm babyshopholic! I can't help it, babies clothes are soooo cute to resist! LOL
Olivia is a beautiful girl! Everyone says "awww" and i am proud to be her mama! She always smiles a lot and is very calm baby when we go out to the store, doctor appointmens, restaurant, driving, etc. She always sits calmly in her carseat/stroller or sleeping heavenly. She is not like that at home; at home she is awake, cries for milk or must change diaper (she hates the feeling of wet) or needs my attention. She loves to be held by families & friends, she loves the attention, she is no shy. Most of all i'm so grateful that she sleeps during the night, the most is 6 hours, so i can have my sleep, whew! I'm wondering if she'll be like that once she turns 2 years old? hmm I have heard about the "terrible two" from other parents. we'll see....in 2 yrs.
As being a new mom is very exhausting! it is 24 hours job paid with love. Daddy Louis always hold her/feed her when he comes home from work and they both always fall asleep together on the couch, my 2 babies! LOL

During weekend he spends time with her as much as he can so I can do the chores or catch up things. It is very busy time right now, cuz we're in the middle of packing to move to a better place in Lakeshore. I am looking forward for spring so I can stroll down Olivia to the park or lake, can't wait! We're also teaching her some sign language, it seems she is paying attention to our hand signing and is always smiling, maybe she likes the hand movements, cuz im sure she doesn't understand us yet. Olivia is 100% hearing but she does need to know sign language as a first language to communicate with her deaf parents, that's a first priority! We're trying to encourage our friends and families to use sign at all times in front of her and in front of a deaf person, it's the right thing to do; especially that Olivia is our daughter. I'm not concerned about her ability to speak, she can always pick up the voice/talk from other hearing ppl, TV, school, etc.
